I'm struggling with something which I have tried to explain in the attached image. I have an element of glazing sitting on a plinth which connects into a wall. The problem being that the glazing is not sitting flush with the wall it meets. The orange line representing where the glazing wants to finish instead. In the diagram if I drag the 'grab handle for the glazing to the blue line (where I want it to sit) then it just jumps back to the same position. I seem to come across a few instances like this, is there something funamental that I am doing wrong? Some setting I'm not ticking?

Thanks for any replies.

Simon

If this is what i'm thinking the problem is in the wall, try to "Disallow Join" then drag BUT I believe you don't have wall enough to do that...

It wouldn't allow me to move it directly to the position I wanted but would on the second move of the handle. So that is sorted now thanks, what is the 'disallow join' option actaully doing?
