Hello all,

Using Revit 2013, an issue that has never happend before cropped up regarding glass. Nobody in my office has the faintest idea about it. Easiest way to explain is through the attached images. It appears that the glass is causing anything in front of it to become translucent. Could be the glass type used (Although I'm stumped as to why it has that functionality), but it could also be some form of global setting as glass I did not manually tinker with is also doing this.

Any ideas?

Sol

Is this happening on your computer only?

Good point. I'll check when my colleagues get back - both are currently out on site visits (Small team). Thanks for the suggestion!

Just checked the transparency via printing a test page. It appears to be only on my screen, which would point to my computer specifically as the problem?

Yeah I'll get the IT guy to have a look at it (Access issues). I assumed it was something different as this is a brand new machine, guess he didn't update as much as intended!

Thanks for the help.

Hey everyone,

I'm having this exact issue with our glass windows and doors doing the same thing in our perspective views.

I'm using Revit 2015 on Windows 7 and have all the latest Revit Updates installed.

Is this something to do with my material settings or is it still a graphics card issue.

Thanks in advance.

You said you had all revit updates. How about the latest graphic card driver, as per Typhoon?
