Hi all.

Apparently a new feature of Revit 2013 MEP is that pipes perpendicular to the view have their centerline drawn as cross hairs (see my screenshot, below). Now, my problem is that I want the view to have centerlines on pipe, but I don't want to see these crosshairs everywhere. In visibility and graphics I only have the option of showing/hiding centerlines as a whole, without the gradation of hiding the cross hairs and showing the pipe centerline.

Anyways, is there any way to do what I want? Can I edit the pipe profile/family somehow (if so, how?), or is that something that Revit generates internally?

The crosshair is actually the centerline(s) in the family.  There is not a way to shut off the crosshairs and keep the centerline on.

I have managed to hide the crosshairs for pipe work.

Within the visibility/graphics settings - in the filter list drop down select piping and within pipes turn off center line.
