Hello.

1) Is there a way to turn off the visibility of an entire truss by selecting the truss wireframe and not the chords and webs?

2) Is there a way to turn off the visibility of a specific truss without turning off the whole category?

Example. I have 4 trusses that are the same. I want to turn off only one of them without having to select every single structural framing members individually.

When I turn off the structural truss in VG only the truss wireframe turns off. The structural framing members it is made of stays on.

I thought of assigning a yes/no shared parameter in the truss family to the web and chord lines visibility. Then add the shared instance parameter to the structural truss in the project parameters. That would let me turn on and off the truss's webs and chords to unly the truss I select. No go. Can't add a shared parameter to the truss family.

I then thought of creating a sub category of my structural framing to use to turn on and off the webs and chords. It works but turns off all 4 trusses.

So does anyone have any idea on what I could do or create that would let me select a truss wireframe and let me turn it off?

Thank you.

Hello everyone.

I am able to do what I wanted by assigning a makr to the truss and its structural framings and then use a filter to turn them on and off as I wish.
