Hi, I running 2013

I am creating a string of lights which will hang from a ceiling. Think party lights or Christmas lights. I want this string of lights to be faced based. (More Flexible) I want to be able to adjust the depth which the center hangs from the ceiling. (The Radius) I also want to be able to adjust the length of the arc. I can only seem to apply parameters to one or the other, length OR depth. If I try to create both parameters, I am greeted with the error of trying to overconstrain my model. This is due to the arc being set to concentric. How can I bypass this? I want to change the radius and the length of arc from within my project and as instances, typically.

Thanks!

Arc is far more complicated to handle with parameters comparing with straight lines.

it has radius, length, and center point and they are closely related each other.

So you have to use formula to handle arc lines somtimes. (ex. Pythagorean theorem)

and here's and example..
