I inserted a storefront door I downloaded from Revitcity. It shows correctly in elevation and section view but appears as a solid rectangle in the plan view. How do I fix this?

it shows correctly in wireframe, but not as hidden line or shaded

So you replaced the curtain wall panel with the CW door. 

Is the floor cut plane passing through the door? 

Do you have a bottom mullion that you forgot to remove? << Look at it in elevation - not 3D.
