Hi!
I have a problem with a room tag. When I tag a room it only tags just half of the room. I can´t find the reason why it does that. Does anyone know? Room separation line doesn´t help.
Thank you

This is not a room tag problem, it is a room limit problem.
A room bounding element is restricting your room to that limit. It could be a hidden wall or a hidden room seperation line. Turn on room seperation lines under lines in VG and/or switch on "reveal hidden elements".

Hi WW,
I'm having a similar problem. Revit wants to constrain the room to demolished walls. See the attached image. No hidden elements are at this location. We've even tried deleting the slabs (existing and new), but that didn't work either. Any ideas?

Turn off room bounding for that demolished wall.

II'M HAVING A SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH ROOM TAG NOT SNAPPING TO THE FULL EXTENT OF ROOM.
I UNTICKED 'ROOM BOUNDING' ON THE DEMOLISHED WALLS.
THE WALLS I WANT TO BE ROOM BOUNDING ARE TICKED.
I HAVE ALSO DRAWN SEPERATION LINES AROUND THE BOUNDARY.
I HAVE ADJUSTED THE LIMITS CORRECTLY.
STILL NO LUCK.
ANY OTHER IDEAS WELCOME......................

This is YOUR model. The problem is that you still have room bounding elements affecting your room and we have no way of knowing what those are. Adding new room seperation lines doesn't do a thing because you still have a room bounding element affecting your room.
Find that element. It could be hidden, in a different phase, in a workset that is off - believe me, it's there and you put it there.

Found it!
A hidden seperation line on an upper split level. I created a new floor plan view at the upper level to find it.
It must have missed the cut plane in the view range on the lower floor plan. That's why I couldn't see it when I turned the seperation lines on in VG or when I tried 'reveal hidden items'.
Just thought I would post this incase anyone else has the same issue.
Thanks!

Note: Also place the room tag in the correct level floor plan when dealing with split level areas. I found it won't let you drag the base level of the room tag up or down in section.
