Hi all,
I am creating a spot plan using mutiple mass extrusions, but i do want to have the area mentioned with a tagg [when a floor face is created] without having to create all the walls [for a room tagg] . How to create a Mass tagg that shows the area or volume!!!
anyone can help?

If I understand you correctly you'ld like to define the boundaries of the area. You can do this by going to View... New... Area Plan... Gross Building. Then goto Drafting... and use Area Tag and Area Boundary to find the areas you desire. You can then schedule these areas or color the areas by type with the Color Fill tool.

hi arccodex1,
i did mean something else actually, i started of my design spot plan with creating several masses which i populate later with walls and roofs etc.
but now i would like to do the plan area like thing. thus to create taggs with are linked to the masses and which show their name [of the mass], their area and their volume. because all these values can be extracted from a mass.
some one can help me with that?
