I'm using Revit Architecture 2012.
I can't seem to select ceilings with the selection box. Both left to right and right to left doesn't grab ceilings. Even after I select everything, the filter button doesn't show any ceiling elements so I know they're not being selected. I just can't figure out why.
I can use tab to eventually click onto the ceiling I want to modify, but it's taking too much time to have to do tab/select for a group of rooms when I could easily modify them all at once if my selection box worked properly. This also proves they are not in Design Options and are able to be selected and modified.
Is there a selection box setting somewhere that I'm missing?

Ceilings can only be selected by their edges. Cross the edge at a wall.
