Hey everyone,
I'm in Revit 2012 and I'm using the same profile for the handrail for both of these railings (in picture) but the one on the stair portion is coming out as a hexagon. Anyone seen this before? Anyway to fix? Thanks.

Did you draw therse stairs as 2 separate components? If so are you SURE they are the same rail? Try drawing just a straight run stair and see if you get the same result.

Thank you for replying. I'm sure they are the same rail. I don't have an octagonal profile in my model. Attached is a picture of a straight run stair using the same railing type. I think it has to do with it being a double curved railing. Can you try on your end to make a circular stair with a circular handrail? Thanks.

I just tried it on a circular stair and I to come up with a octagon shape for the circular railing on a circular stair, sorry I do not know a fix at this time. Hope someone else can chime in!
