Hello,

As the title states I'm trying to combine Room Schedules and Area Schedules into one large schedule. I am not sure if this possible. I have tried some of the things I know and haven't come up with a solution. I was wondering if you guys had any solutions to this. Essentially what the owner wants us to do is calculate the area of one large room and then break out each room within that large room. I'm using Revit 2012. Thanks for your help.

I don't see any way to combine these two schedules.

You could do this with two room schedules placed together to look as one by using design options.

  1. Create your floor plan with all seperate (smaller rooms).
  2. Create a seperate design option that only has room seperation lines defining the larger areas.
  3. Create your normal room schedule and a seperate DO schedule.

Thanks, WWHUB I appreciate it. I will give that a shot and see if it works for me.
