Hello All- I am a HS student working on a project for competition. I am using "Revit 2011- Educational Version."  This is the first time I have had trouble rendering, but I have only been using Revit for a couple of months...

When rendering the inside of the house (here I'm trying to do the Parlor), I have "Interior- Artifical and Sun Light" selected, but the dialouge box that comes up states that there are "No sun light portals"  even though there are a couple of good sized windows in that room. The windows appear grey in the renderings, as if there were painted. (They are just stock Revit windows)   Do I need to designate them as "sunlight portals?"

The problem persists when I try to render the exterior of the house- its almost as if it is done in grayscale.

What should I do to get good, colored renderings?

-Thanks, Clark

Have you had any problems with plants not showing up in renderings? I am also a HS student working on a project. I have some shrubs that aren't showing in the renderings, my trees are though. I am working on RAC2013 and am using the families that were brought in with Revit. Any ideas are helpful, thanks.
