I am not really familiary with beam systems so I may be missing something. I created a beam system for concrete plank that will be spanning from wall to steel beam. I sketched the outline to exatly where I wanted it and it lines up perfectly on the wall side but I drew it to the center of the beam becuase I want it to sit on top and it will not overlap the beam! It stops short by 1/2" from the outside of the flange. I know I can change that and 1/2" would be fine if it was 1/2" from the center (like I drew it) instead of from the face of the flange. Is there a way to tell the beam system to overlap the beam without actually changing the start/end extensions of each individual plank? See attachement for visual.
