Im working with a linked model for the first time creating concrete lift drawings and also just getting back into Revit after 2 years.

Im running into a few issues. Is there anyway to edit the model itself to add more information for schedules and such? If not is it possible to copy monitor or something similar and then add the information?

"Is there anyway to edit the model itself to add more information for schedules and such?" --yes here in revitcity, theres always a way lol. you can edit the link file and update the link on the main file? or bind the link and re-link? or open two revit session to do the updates and so on..

If the linked file is a consultants and will change, then you really don't want to edit it.

If these are elements you can copy monitor, then that is a better process.
