Hi,
Is there a way to insert lets say a image of a google map into revit where you could see the image while you manipulate your building in 3D view? I know you could insert images into vasari where you can still see it in the 3D viewer.

Image instances cannot be placed in 3D views. You could place a thin floor and attach a decal of the image to the floor that way it can be seen in a 3D view

Thats a good suggestion. will the image only show in realistic view. Since this is a big file it will slow it down dramatically.
