Haven't seen any solutions to this issue yet on help or in the forums.  Im using 2013 and have stairs that go from level 1 - 6.  The issue is the stair arrows/notation.  In visibility graphics I can check the boxes per view for what I want but for some reason the arrows for up or down do not show sometimes.  One thing I noticed is that if a copy a set of stairs the arrows and notation for that stair dissapears.  I also noticed that if I have a set of stairs set to show up in one view and set to show down in the above levels view the up is the only notation that shows.  What am I missing here?

On a side note, If you build a repeating stair system floor to floor the landing per floor seems to be an issue.  The landing is stuck to by type so I cannot swap out the floor landings to a slab because if i do the intermediate landings will change as well within the system.  The landing in essence are stuck to one type.  Now if you delete the landings per floor level the railings get screwed and dissappear.

I can still run multistory for a system that is exactly the same.

I can build one system with different types of stair configurations floor to floor .

I can copy stairs per floor and the rail becomes  non continuous.

What I cant do is build one system with different types of stair configurations floor to floor and different types of landings. argh.
