I've built a parametric shell type structure using a conceptual metric mass as the starting basis, which is basically an arched structure in form.. I apply a grid to the surface (switch on nodes) add my adaptive beams to it. then created a curtain wall panel pattern based element for it. To the pattern I have hosted an adaptive component, with the ability to altered is shape to the grid. However when i load it to the grid it doesn't follow the grid pattern, any idea's. In the image below I have highlighted the panel in question (there will be several of these panels if i get it to work properly) basically these panels should follow the grid & are adaptive components, with a parameter to alter the angle, as in an mechanical skin that opens & close for ventilation & light..... https://dl.dropbox.com/u/15480632/Capture.JPG I can dropbox the complete file if its easier to try see what i am doing...
