Started a new house. Have drawn the basement complete with room tags. They are ok until I add a ground floor over and try to attach walls to underside of ground floor. Then tags are not bound. I have got over this by inputting the top of wall to finish below ground floor depth and room tags behave but surely they should work when you attach ?
However, as soon as I draw my internal ground floor walls on top of the basement walls, different wall types and layout, again the room tags fail. Can any1 let me know what I am missing please ? Is it to do with my external walls being full height of building ?

Hard to understand without seeing how you are modeling the project.
Be aware that rooms are level related, so they need to be placed at the level you want them to display at. As I've stated in prior posts, the tags mearly display the room information, not define it.
If you added a level above the level where your rooms are defined then you need to move rooms around.
If your levels are OK, then it can be a room bounding issue. Check where your room bounding cut line is at Settings>Area Settings>Room Calculations.

After coming back into work next day the room tags started to behave. Seems to be a glitz in the system. As upgrades progress I seem to be finding more of these sort of errors where after a reboot the errors stop happening. Anyone else noticing this at all, it may be my pc ?

Currently there seems to be a bug in the software, and the only way we have found of creating a fix is by going to the Area Settings menu, going to the room calculations Tab and changing the specifed hieght, this tends to regen the fill, but only for a while. I hope this helps
