Does anyone know why when using a crossing-window to select objects on a second floor plan that objects on the first floor plan below are also being selected.  This will cause major issues if objects below are deleted.  Any help would be appreciated.  We have verified that the floor plan view settings are standard.

First check your view depth is it below the level if so you can select objects below.  Make sure the view range is set to the desired bottom of level.

Revit is a 3D program.  Anything in the view (and view range) hidden by other objects or not, will be selected by crossing windows.  Every user needs to understand this and ALWAYS check their "funnel" to verify what they are selecting.

Yes I understand - it was a view range issue.  Thanks
