Good afternoon,

I am using Revit 2012, build 20110916_2132 (x64) update release 2.

Revit isn't really running slowly for me, only certain things are causing problems.  For instance, whenever I click the big R button it takes 20-30 seconds before the menu pops up. Once the menu is up its fine.

I was working on a project with another firm, who had me log directly into the central file via a network connection.  I think this is the problem.  In the Revit options, file locations, I found a listing of thier server but removing that has not solved the issue.  

Any further ideas or a way to fully remove the history of that project from my program?

Not only form the Options>Places, you can add any folder directly dragging on to the left side place list. Click on 'Open' and check what all you have in the place list and clear everything. Some times even though you have added a computer from local network and that computer is not on you face the same problem.
