I am trying to get the mullion to fallow the shape of my mass, like the columns are doing. The wall i am trying to put it on is a sloped wall that tapes on one side. I have made the mass three different ways.
1) draw top, bottom, and lofting between.
2) draw bottom, massed to height, then made voids to get shape.
3) draw bottom, masses to height, then pushed top lines in to get the shape.
All give me the same perfectly plumb and square curtain grid. I have tried changing grid patterns but I still get vertical mullions. I thought changing the layout to fixed number would do it, but it didn't help. I don't know if it is because I have 2013 or not. I know i have seen many people with the opposite problem. I have made little test buildings to try this out on.

Mullions wiil not angle except at the perimeter. You will have to use an in-place family.

I understand that it would not be done in practice, but my studio professor wants it done to accentuate the shape of my building. I'm still in school and most of the time to the professors, the real world doesn't matter. I'm guessing that means fake it in Photoshop or Illustrator then?

Or in-place family as I said. It is just an extrusion.

Do you have/know of a link on how to do it in in-place family? I'm experienced with using it.

- In a section view through this slanted wall, create a work plane that is along this slated wall face and name the plane.
- Create a vertical section in this section view looking at the wall and rotate it so that it is parallel with this slanted wall.
- Gotot that section view.
- Set your work plane to the reference plane you created.
- Now start the model in place - extrusion.
- Sketch your entire mullions horizontal and verticle maybe?
- Set your extrusion thickness (may need a negative & positive depending on work plane position.
- Finish the sketch - finish the in-place.
