I have recently set up a custom Door Schedule and have managed to add Reportable Shared Parameters that propogate to the Schedule as they should. However i can not seem to get the Door material Shared Parameter to allow me to check the Reportable Parameter radio button.  Has anyone run across this before and if so could you please let me know what I am doing wrong. I will apologize in advance if this is already a thread, but after looking thru about 20 different threads i thought it just might be easier to ask...

What would be a reportable parameter on the door material?  I don't see any - just a parameter.

Reportable parameters are defined in your HELP.

What i was hoping to achieve was when i placed a wood, steel, or aluminum door into the model that the schedule would automatically updated the door material parameter in the door schedule. When i set up the height and width Shared parameters for the same doors i would have to select instance parameter in order select the reportable Parameter radio button. I attached the family in hopes to better clarify what it is i am trying to say...

Again - i don't believe you understand what a "reportable" parameter is so please spend some time with your help.

All shared parameters can be scheduled.
