Hi,
I have built a model and have created particular wall types with internal and external claddings with thicknesses which are assigned materials and colors to them... for example a 120mm stud wall, with 30mm weather board and 10mm plasterboard.
This is fine for generating a rendered image of your model, but when i go to dimension the walls, the dimensioning picks up everything.
How does one avoid this problem of the dimensions showing say a 150mm wall, when all i want it to show is a 120mm stud wall on my working drawings?

please search the forum, been answered b 4... :
when you click on the dimension tool some options will come up on top, under "Prefer" choose center of core from the drop down menu.
