Whenever I have the view style set to "Hidden Line", Revit masks the linework of families that are in close proximty to one another. For example, if I place two electrical panels side by side, the adjacent edges disappear. I could understand if the families were overlapping, but as it is, I have to keep 2"-4" between family components in order to avoid hidden lines. Is there any way to correct this behavior, other than making the familes transparent?

Have you checked to make sure that Draw MEP Hidden Lines is checked in the Mechanical Settings dialog?
