Hi guys my model is finished with everything 3D like structre column, beams system foundation framing everything very much is done and ready to print until i got a call saying to re position the building to a new place almost the opposite of where it used to be i have tried to rotate the building normaly, than i got a massage from revit saying its successfully done, but some of my 3D structure ended up away from the building almost out of where it used to be?? Problem 1 next i delete my topo or the site of my current project and saved the project without a site or topo to a new name, the idear is to re draw another site topo save it, than bring or link my finished building into the NEW site topo i made. so i can re position the building or move it around easily, i tried that link revit thing but didnt work,,,,, Problem 2hope i made my problem clear enough.. sorry to much words

If you really care about origins and your model being in the real place, you should have used the relocate project tool.  This is a very confusing process for most new users so read up on it.

If you don't care, then simply move the site - either in the model or the link if the site was linked.

And ... Linking works when done correctly.  If the model is linked in, do a zoom E from an uncropped view.  It will be thre - probably way off in space somewhere.

also the site is done from google image its not a dwg file, just for the record

Yes, it is far easier to link the site into the building - after all, all of your documentation is in the building file.

If the site is an image only, you will have problems.  It is a flat object and you will want it below your floor.  If it is above it, it wll hide objects.

If you had a question, it is not clear.

The linked file as a whole can be picked from any view where it shows.  In addition, individual elements in the linked file can be picked to hide or modify graphics in that view.  The entire linked file VG can be controlled separately from the main file in appropriate VG/Linked file settings.

And no, you can't edit the linked file in the linked mode.
