What is the easiest way to handle systems in piping?  I have vents and waste piping and some vents show up as a waste pipe, and if I change it, it changes a lot of other items incorrectly.  I dont know how to change them so it doesnt change everything it is connected to.  Sometime I can change 1 pipe, other times changing 1 pipe changes a lot of pipes.  This is an issue with waste and vent, as they tie into each other.  A similar issue is with Hot water and Hot water returns.  I want to select an incorrectly assigned pipe and change it to the correct system, wiithout changing others.  Is there an editor? I cant seem to find it.

I also have some issues that I sleect a pipe, and it gives me no other options, kinda like a glitch.  It shows the one its on, and like a partion of another one, like there would be more, but the drop down isnt complete.

Have you tried accomplishing this by using the system browser to manage the pipe segments and systems ?

Check the configuration on the connectors in the family.  If the conector is predefined it will dictate the system designation also linked conectors will also govern the system designation through fittings.
