So im currently, in a Teacher mentoring program. and as part of the program, im to give a lesson to the class in the subject of revit rendering. Ive never done a class lesson plan, I know quite alot about revit rendering, but im have some serious issues on what areas to cover, and in what order my lesson plan should go. Im thinking of starting off with visual styles, but thats as far as i have planned.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It might first start with what to model and what not to model.  Although rendering is an art, some people can't get to high quality renderings without high quality detail first.  i.e. modeling the screws in the cabinet and modeling the bracket holding the cabinet up.  IF it is visible AND you have the right computer, you should model it.

Then I would explain what a rendering is, how it used to be done (watercoloring, etc...) what you should expect as a result and how to get a quailty result.

How to choose the right view is also very important.
