Hello thereI am currently trying the tools4Revit, the rafter+ tool to assess its relevance to use in the office. I have created the roof structure using several tools but just realised they don't have a tool to create a wallplate on top of where the structure will take off. I am sure there is way to do that in Revit without having to manually draw these things individually on top of the walls, which will be a complicated thing considering how my walls heights differ in this included drawing. I am going for the worse case scenario to assess the use of this tool. Does anyone know how to create such a timber wallplate in Revit?

Consider this problem solved. Just so you know. The solution is to use the beam tool under structure menu and change the beam to dimensional lumber, create your type, with desired dimensions, then draw your wall plate from top in 3dview making sure you are doing it on the level already created for the wall plate. You could also chose a plane prior to creating. Done this way your wallplate become instantly schedulable.
