Look at this picture. the edges of the elevation is cut off...the crop region is off as you can see. all other elevs select just right.

also where is the elevation looking "down" (on the image) how does one find it????

(no its not hidden)

It appears that you have an elevation tag right in the middle of the building. Look at your picture

those are interior elevations for the kitchen. the selected elevation (left most arrow) is selected, but the edges of the elevation and the blue grips do not appear. anyway, simply unchecked it, deleted elevation, rechecked it and reformatted the elev view. that worked...just buggy

Not buggy - you had the elevation set to no-clip.
