I'm a bit baffled by this one, hoping someone else has experienced this issue:
<br><br>
We use View filters to control line styles for various piping systems. We have a Project Parameter that applies to Pipes, Pipe Fittings, and Pipe Accessories called "Pipe System Type". We then type the applicable designation into that parameter (CW for Cold Water, HW for Hot Water, etc.) and use View Filters that look for that string in that Parameter and apply the right linetype. Our pipe tags also list that text string. This has been working well for over a year now.

But recently, the filters have stopped being able to list Project Parameters in the "Filter Rules" pull down. It used to list the "Pipe System Type" Project Parameter, but now it's reverted back to "None." When I try to re-set it by selecting "More Parameters" at the bottom of the pulldown menu, it keeps reverting back to "None." Hopefully the image below will explain this more clearly. Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks!

Hey there, there I had a tough time myself on this one too.
That happens.. because the parameter you are selecting is not a common parameter between the categories you are selecting. In order for you to be able to filter by a certain parameter, the selected categories MUST have it in common between them.
In otherwords, if the parameter you want to filter by is not listed, it is because it is not a parameter that the categories you selected to apply the filter to have in common. You can change this IF the parameter you want to filter by is a project parameter or a shared parameter, and verify that it is in fact applied to the categories you want to select in your filter.
So if you see the img I attached... the categories selected in (B) must be also selected in (A) so that the parameters are available at (C)
