So here are my issues Im dealing with in release 13 .

the materials editor is a bear! I have been trying to create my own textures but cannot quite grasp the workings of the new material editor..if someone would care to show me how to do that I would greatly appreciate it.

And then the stairs...

I was trying to edit some stairs and do a custom risers..Now i clicked edit stairs and then run, but I didnt see any tools for editing boundry lines. And when I did select some lines that I thought were run lines, the stairs couldnt be created???

This release does slow you down I must say.

Now possibly im missing some toolbars in the ribbon for edit stairs, I only have a few items to choose from in the ribbon when I select edit stairs.

For stairs, I suggest you do the tutorials in the Help.

Once you learn how the new stairs work you will like them way better than 2012. WWHub is right, the tutorials are a big help.

Okay..Cool, ty for the replies...But what about the Materials editor???I have textures I want to install on walls and such..But I cannot figure out the materials editor in 2013
