Hey....

It's the first time, that i've had this kind of problem ind revit. I really don't know, if i've pushed some buttons, which have resulted in this problem. And now to the problem:

When I, as an example, select a wall, and I want to edit it, i push:

1. Edit type

2. Construction, Structure, I push Edit

3. Then I like to select anorther material, and here's the problem. It takes several minutes before it comes up with my material liberary. It has never done this before. And it happens everytime, when I like to change a materiale under a construction-type.

I hope, that some of you, have expirenced the same problem, and maybe can help me?

i wish someone had responded to this...  we are having the exact same problem in our office and i was about to post this very same question.  editing wall materials is taking FOREVER.  i don't think it's a user created problem, though, it seems to be universal in our office, common to all users and all projects.

if someone has a helpful hint, please share!!

thanks, SJ.

The problem is with Release 2013 I think. Mine takes forever now, too.

Try R button, options, file locations tab, delete link in Default path for user files:

Check the paths of the two path links below are correct too.
