Problem: Dwg (lines and geometry) in Revit link (MEP Revit Model) does not display, unless "reveal hidden items" is toggled on. I have tried "unhiding category" and turning everything on in visibility graphics, but nothing works.

Thoughts?

I'm not clear on what the structure of your model is. It sounds like your model is the arch model and you have a linked MEP model which contains a linked or imported DWG. Is that the case? is this a problem in all views or only in the 3D view you sent? Try changing the discipline of your 3D view to mechanical that may fix the 3D view.

I am modelling the architecture in my model. I have the MEP model linked into my model. My MEP engineer has modelled ducts and pipes in Revit (which are visible), but has inserted 3D dwg blocks into his model, which are not visible in my model unless I hit the lightbulb.

I have copied the dwgs into my model as a workaround, but would rather a fix than a workaround.

Thanks,

try going into your "visibility graphics" and then go to the "imported categories tab" and make sure everything is checked as visible.

I turned absolutely everything on thru visibilty graphics. No help. That would also assume that the dwg blocks in the lniked revit file somehow came in automatically turned off.
