I'm not a fan of the following method, but often times we are asked to indicate verbal text references to specific details such as a sentence incorporated into a general notes section that reads:
GENERAL NOTE: REFER TO PHASE 1 SHEET A5.105/02 FOR TYPICAL MILWORK ANNOTATION AND DIMENSIONS
Everytime you manually type a detail reference, you are planting a landmine in the event that the detail gets moved, since you are unlikely to go back and check every detail reference in a world of automated detail references. Is there a smart method for indicating detail references in text format?
