Hello good:I wonder if you can make a table of families picking "elements of details."Why?I mean, when I do a detail included screws, foams, sealants, etc ... all these elements I have done as families of "elements of detail."Now I want to collect these items on tables and include calculated values to determine the amounts thereof. If there is another way to do this would be grateful to anyone who could help me ...

regards,

Obviously, a 2D item placed in a 3D view can be scheduled but it will have no quantity, 3D information.  In other words, the quatity is one.  (Unless you place the element in other locations.)

We often use 2D model families that have parameters....For instance a furniture family that has only symbollic lines in plans and elevations.  We also have invisible detail families.  Just a family with an invisible line in it for place ment but it has all the parameters you need.  << Sometimes you might group this with another element so this information "piggy backs" to every place you need it.
