I am fairly new to revit and trying to build window families with nested sashes which can be easily switched out.  I have built a few of the sashes based off of a generic model component.  When I insert the sashes I can align them veritcally, horizontally, and centered in the frame.  However, when I switch sashes out (using the type parameter) I cannot adjust the window height or the default sill without the vertical constraint breaking or having to be broken.  I have attached the file because I am sure my lack of knowledge is making my explaination unclear.

I am working in Revit Architecture LT 2013

I realized the issue had to be resolved with adding a height above reference plane for the nested family which could then be linked to the default sill height.
