Revit 2013 Update Release 1
Scenario:
I have a wall stype with several sweeps. When placing a face based family, it detects some of the faces perfectly and others it does not.
Attached is a project file with he offending family.
I am guessing it is the profiles I have attached to the wall style that are causing the issue. I was hoping someone here could have a look and see if there is something I am missing...
Thanks for any help you can offer...

I believe you are correct.... it is the profiles. Some things will not host (or cut).

What is really strange it that this same family works fine on other profiles. It's hit and miss. I can't narrow down what is different.

check to make sure the reference planes in the wall sweeps are all Strong References. If they are Not References, that may be causing the problem.

No luck...
To add to the cofusion, face based families work on some of the planes of the profile and not on others. All lines are set to be strong references.
