I am using 2013 Architecture:

I am building a steel framed building. It has a "flat" roof with a 1/4:12 slope. I inserted the column, beams, and joists using grid lines so everything lines up nice a pretty but it was flat (of course) matching the level it was drawn on. In plan if I move a column or grid line the beam ends move with it and each individual joints lengthens of shortens so the seats stay on the beam - it is a thing of beauty.

I assumed the same thing would apply to heights, so I lowered the top of the columns on one side to match the dimension that the roof slopes and I assumed that the beams would have attached to the columns and would lower with it and the joists seats attached to the beam would also lower but only the top of the columns came down, everything else stayed level. I tried "join" but that does not do anything. Align will work but if something changes they do not stay aligned and move together. Is there a way to "connect" columns, beams, and joists so they all react together as a unit in the vertical direction? It is a huge pain-in-the-butt to go and alter each end every time something in the height or slope changes a little.
