Revit 2013:
For making roofs I want to attach my roof to the roof structure to have the roof match the beam slope. So in the roof contextual modify panel I select "pick supports" which attaches the roof to the beams - perfect. The problem I am having is that the beams are about a foot from the edge of the roof and the roof edge maintains its original height and not the slope of the beam so you get this extreme slope at the perimeter (see attached PDF). How do you fix this, or am I going about this incorrectly?

Have you tried to modify the sub elements around the perimeter and change them to the elevation you want?

Yes, but you have to have the slopes identical (which is almost impossable) or you still get a little hump.
