Hi. I'm created a mass floor schedule (for calc of floor areas). Background: I have created differenent tpes of family and 'model in place' masses (to represent building volumes - used mass floors). So there are several different family names. However, when i create a 'model in place' mass, I cannot name it the same thing as other families that I eventually want to group together in a mass floor schedule. For example, I created a family called 'office' so i had to name a 'model in place' mass 'office 2'. I want both to be counted as simply 'office' area. This is a problem in the mass floor area schedule as they are obviously two different items in the schedule at the moment...Is there a good way of somehow grouping families and 'model in place' masses? Can I create a new parameter in 'available fields' in schedule properties? Really need to work around this problem, any suggestions much appreciated. Thanks

Add a project, shared parameter to both types and use that as a sort/filter.
