Hi there,

I've started using Revit in 2010 in a one person drawing and designing business. I choose Revit because it should be convenient for BIM and that sounded like a good business opportunity. After 3 years of struggling with I can manage it for my needs. BIM never became a need but small  renovations of freestanding hoouses or new private housing or schools became my main business. I like the phases possibility and I render a lot of jobs.

But often I'm really getting frustrated with this program. It's got lot of promises in it but lots of them simply don't work. Really too much too tell. Problems with hardware. Program crashes at least three times a week. No autosave only way too much journal files. Renderings that't don't work. Decal settings don't work well in renderings. Walls auto joining are not always functional. So many settings in different places. Even simpliest function like trimming lines/walls under a 45 degree corner are missing. I could make a long story here.

Just curious are there others out there in a similar situation that are really contented with Revit ?

Best regards

Henk

We have a plugin that does autosave, autorelinquish and autoexit Revit. The Archigrafix Secure is compatible with Revit 2016 and Revit 2017.
