Hi,
I am new to Revit and am having an issue where Ray Tracing an interior shows up black, where as if I render the same view it renders the sun and interior lights correctly?
I have set the graphic and render settings to the same - interior sun & artificial and anything else I can think of but it's just not doing it.
Am I missing something or is this a bug?
Also while I'm at it - can anyone help me with the shadows as shown in the rendered pic - it just makes the walls look dirty, is there a setting or something I can adjust to fix that up?
Thanks for any help with this
MM

Hi - I hadn't done that - I managed to get it working now, thanks for the tip.
I found also that the sun works better when the background is set to sky and the ground color is something lighter than the default grey.

Hight MM,
It seemed like light fixtures rendered correctly for me in the file on the computer, but then when rendered online errors in light fixture geometry became appearant. Errors like the light source being above parts of the fixture that kept the light from coming out and lighting up the room. It looks like you may be having a similar issue where the interior lights just aren't coming on for you.
Are you using revit light fixtures or content made by the manufacturer?
Is there an IES web file assigned to the light(s)?
