I AM NEW TO REVIT AND I AM TRYING TO DEVELOP A FOODSERVICE EQUIPMENT SCHEDULE, THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE ARCH ELEMENTS (DOORS, WINDOWS, COLUMS, ETC. THE ONLY ITEMS/FAMILIES I NEED TO INCLUDE IN THE SCHEDULE ARE CASEWORK AND SPECIALITY EQUIPMENT ITEMS. ANY TIPS?

THANK YOU, JIM WILLIAMS

You need to use a filter in your schedule to tell it to only show the items that meet the filter criteria. Check in the properties of the schedule under Filter and set up a filter that makes sense for you. There are many options. One way is to make a shared parameter called Food Service Schedule and add it to all the families you want to show in that schedule, as well as to the schedule itself. (It doesn't have to have a value in the value column). Then set the schedule filter to Parameter: Food Service Schedule / exists, and only those families containing that paramter will show in the schedule. BTW you can make the Food Service Schedule parameter a hidden field (on the format tab of the schedule properties) so it doesn't display.
