Revit Arch 2013....have an 3 phase project with 3 phases of grading...created existing toposurface, create a graded region in succeeding phase, grade the region, get report of cut and fill....everything is fine....go to final phase, create graded region, grade the region, but for some reason, I get no report of cut and fill from the changes made between 2nd and 3rd phase.  Can't figure out why.  Any ideas?

This is wierder than i thought.

I created a new test project and created a test topo and then altered it with a graded region just to see if perhaps my protocol was wrong.  Cut and fill quantities display just like they are supposed to....so, I seem to know how to do it...everything goes fine.  But do the same thing in my current project, and the cut and fill quantities do not display.  Something seems to be altered in the file to tell it not show the cut and fill quantities or is somehow disassociating the graded region from the base existing region.  I got no idea what it might be.

I have never done a project like this.  You may not be able to do this unless you create a new "existing" that has phase 1 and 2 combined then grade that.

I tried that and still get no report of cut and fill. That is the part that I don't understand.  Almost seems as though Revit can only deal with one topo set per project, but that seems counter-intuitive and I can't see why the database would be confused about it.

I'm too frustrated over this to deal with it right now, but I'm going to attack a workaround in the next few days and I'll report what I find.
