hi guys!

i am trying to place pipes but for some reason they show up as a single line, and in some views they are totally invisible.

i tried also to make some changes in diameter but nothing changed.

and when i am on the top view i am only able to go in one direction and cant make 90° bends.

what is wrong?

thanks

Igor

Are you in MEP? I don'tr work in MEP but did you change that view to "medium or fine" in the view mode?

uhm, i have the suite, and that includes revit. but i don't read "MEP" anywhere. lines are not set to fine. i also noticed that i can only draw the first section of line, then i cant continue to draw anything...

You have Revit Architectural, Structural and Mechanic, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP), I don't know what version are you working on, that's why I asked if you are working in MEP.

Did you change the "Visual" style mode to "Medium or Fine" and check if that solved the problem?

I don't use MEP.  Is this a coarse / fine issue.  I bet it is.

i dont think so because of several reasons:

a) i can only draw the first line, then no more line is drawn when i click. (in the video i am actually clicking all around when i move the mouse)

b) no family is loaded or available (as you see on the clip when i hit on the right)

c) i tried to click the fine/coarse button several times but with no result...

To have the pipes show up as the actual 3d form, you need to have the detail level of the view set to FINE

or you can set just the pipe catogory to FINE in the visibility/graphics override or view template if your using one.
