Hi all,
I am creating a family which is categorized as special equipment. My goal is to have it tied to a length parameter so every instane can vary within my model. I did create a length parameter and when I try to flex it some of my components are adjusting properly and some are not.
I cannot seem to identify how to enable the missing constraints to get this working properly.
Thanks!

It would help if you'd post the family. It's hard to diagnose without seeing the patient. That said, it sounds like you have some geometry that is not properly locked to your reference planes. Basic parametric practice is to create all the reference planes you need first, add labeled dimensions, and make sure they flex as required. THEN create your geometry and lock the sketch lines to the reference planes. (When you are flexing geometry, you are really flexing reference planes, which drag the geometry with them- you're not directly flexing the geometry). If different parts of your family need to be different lengths, you need a parameter for each length, and you may also need length parameters (or perhaps simple locked dimensions) to keep two pieces in the right relationship to one another. Only use parameters for dimensions that need to change. Any dimensions that don't change should just be a locked dimension.

I did post it, although I also did solve the issue.
Yes it was missing locks to the reference planes.
Now onto making it more intelligent to automatically add legs that can vary in location. If only I had a clue how! I'll be reading up on that first.
