So I'm demoing existing duct heaters (just a box) and inserting new duct heaters. I've tried to pull the existing ductwork back and forth to reconnect with the new equipment but it just won't accept the connection. The only way I can connect the two is to draw new ductwork, either from the existing or from the new piece of equipment. Both of those options result in a chunk of the existing ductwork turning to new construction. Then I have to change it's properties back to existing. I'm hoping there is a simple trick I'm missing here. Or I'm plainly just doing something wrong. Please let me know! Thanks!
