This can be silly for revitgeeks...

How could we use a formula for a range of length of an element itself?

eg. length between 3m to 5m

do you want to see if a length is between two values or do you want to set a length to any length between two values?

in the first case its easy, just use 2 nested ifs, but i doubt that this is the real question, the second case doesnt even make too much sense to me.

in case you want to see if the length is between 2 values try it like this:

if (length > 3000, if( length < 5000, TRUE, FALSE) , FALSE)

or

if (AND (length > 3000, length < 5000),TRUE, FALSE)

regards

igor
