I am trying to create a Revision symbol to use in projects, which is the revision symbol, with a label for the revision number inside of it. I also have a label for the date, but the problem is, when I place it in a project, the date label is always going to be in the same place, even if it gets in the way of doors, walls, etc. Is it possible to create the family in such a way that the date label would be movable in the project? Basically, it would act like a leader line...

Thoughts?

Update* my question is simliar to this one, which was never answered: http://www.revitcity.com/forums.php?action=viewthread&thread_id=11961

The better solution for this is two tags.  One is the Triangle, the other is the date.   << I don't understand why you would need to do this ... if this information is already in your revision schedule.

You won't be able to make the label movable, but you can set up your family with several labels in different positions, then control the visibility of each with yes/no parameters.
