I am currently trying to see the difference in the rendering capabilities of revit and viz,
and am stuck on exporting my revit path into viz.
any help would be appreciated.

not sure you can export the path, never did...
it is easy enough to create your path in Viz, and regarding the quality, Viz wins hands down! Revit rendering is a joke in most cases...  if only we could have the Viz engine...(right after world peace  )
